Correction re Michael Flannery

Cathleen McLoughlin O'Brien • 5 April 2006

I have just come across this article and I wish to inform you that there are some incorrect statements in it. I intend to contact Chris Fogarty about it as well. Michael Flannery was never, ever a member (founding or otherwise) of Friends Of Irish Freedom. I don't know why C. Fogarty would say this. It is not true. I am a National Officer, and a local New York Officer in FOIF (and have been since it's re-establishment in 1989). My father and grandparents were also officers and members of the original FOIF in 1916.
